Dear Potential Chamber Member         

The South Huron Chamber of Commerce is a vital and growing organization. We serve the interests of the business community by providing services, networking opportunities and advocacy.  We are a membership based organization and rely on membership fees and direction for our activities and support.

Businesses join the Chamber for various reasons including our Chamber Benefits program (one of the best small business packages in Ontario), inclusion in Chamber promotions and activities as well as to support economic and community development. The power of each individual business is multiplied, and members can work collectively towards innovative solutions and have an amplified voice.

Since 2016, the Chamber has undergone a revitalization process that resulted in a new strategic plan, an updated communications and branding strategy, as well as several new and renewed events. A continued partnership with the Exeter BIA has been expanded and strengthened allowing for new projects, in addition to increased collaboration and resource sharing.  Also, positive working relationships with various levels of government allows the Chamber to represent the interests of local businesses, as plans and decisions are made.

The South Huron Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.  These business owners and operators understand the value of working together to build an environment that is conducive to business vitality and expansion.  They aim to impact positive economic and community development by identifying concerns and opportunities for Chamber focus. Any Chamber member is eligible for a Board position.

As part of our revitalization efforts – we invite you to join the Chamber now!  The focus of our work in 2018-2019 will be workforce development and promoting the benefits of living, working and owning a business in South Huron.  We will also advocate for business on the issues that impact their operations and success. Enjoy the benefits of membership including membership rates to learning and social events, ability to participate in SHCC projects, special promotions and more! Our website will re-launch in January 2018 and include a member-only section and Chamber Business Directory.
